In the left bento box are rolled ham slices with some slivered carrots and lots of alfalfa sprouts.
In the silicon cup is some vegetables I kept back last night from cooking the "Yasai Itame" for this morning. I blanched the vegetables together in salted boiling water, mixed them with a dash of shoyu, pepper and sesame seed oil. I bought some Jackfruit yesterday so I skewered some with my new picks!
In the right bento box, I filled one and a half mini croissants with more alfalfa sprouts, some slivered carrots rolled in thin slice of ham with a dash of mustard. More cherry tomatoes to accompany the sandwich.

True, the way to diet is through vegetables, and protein. No carbo for maximum of 10 days. HOwever, I find it hard not to go without carbo. I am such a carbo person.

YasaiItame in the cup is a good idea because it is juicy.
With such specific dateline and target, vegies may be the best solution. You made diet food look so good.
allthingspurple: Thank You! Thank You! I love the colors too!
10 days without carbo, I think if anybody can last that long, it's #2. She eats 2 spoons full for dinner every night.
nobu: Yes, the Yasai Itame is very juicy and I like the dash of pepper in it.
3lilangels: I have to make it look good otherwise she doesn't even want to eat! *sweating*
I have the same box :)
Looks yummy, and yes, lots of veggies is good!
yvo: I was lucky to get this in red too!
Actually I think croissants is quite fattening as it contain lots of butter, besides being made from refined flour. Wholemeal bread would be better.
3lilangels: A little 'fat' is okay lah! She's already avoiding carbo and quite picky with foods now.
