Bento #23

Today's bento is so boring! Just Cha Soba with frozen dipping sauce on the side in one box and an egg croissant and freshly baked brownies in the other. One frozen bottle of juice!

Matching colors of bento box and juice bag on the right!

Mountain of brownies - won't last long!

You called this Bento boring? Wow, brownies, Cho soba (which I always wanted to try but never got around to it).

Your girls do eat well and rather healthily for lunch.

Judy: Cha soba sells at the Japanese restaurant between RM18-24 per portion. Buckwheat sobas are cheaper. I buy a pack of quality Cha soba for under RM10, make some dipping sauce, add some condiments and I can feed a whole family!

Usually, when we eat Japanese food at restaurants, it's got to be sashimi or some exotic dish that I prefer to leave to the pros to dish out!

I try to feed my kids with as much home cooked foods as possible and so far they are enjoying it.
