BENTO #65

A fast bento for this morning. Beginning of the exams before the upcoming holidays.

This bento contains a Babybel cheese, hard boiled egg and some soy sauce in the strawberry bottle. The little Hello Kitty container is packed with some chocolate. The bottom container has her regular dose of vegetables with salad cream and cheese.

jane: You sound like me, always thinking that there is not enough food!

#2 keeps reminding me that it's food for break time and not for lunch.

She complaints that by the time she decides where to start and before she can end, recess is over.

I am a little skeptical about that and I'm always under pressure to keep the food minimal with fruits and vegetables. Probably also the diet factor!

But somehow all these rules don't matter when there is sushi!?@#%?!

Hi. I'm Sharon, who wrote the first post. Sorry left out my name. Anyway, I want to ask how you made the sakura shaped kamaboko with egg inside, as shown in the October 20, 2007 post.

The food in your bentos look sufficient to me, and definitely healthy and delicious. I'm inspired to do the same for my 6-yr old.

Sharon: I bought the kamaboko in Jaya Jusco in 1U. They sometimes stock the Hello Kitty and Froggi kamaboko too. Nice varieties but expensive!

Wow, Hello Kitty and Froggi kamaboko!! If that doesn't get fussy eaters to eat, I don't know what will. Thanks for the info.
