BENTO #110

Last week, when hubs was in Aussie land, I roasted a whole chicken for dinner with #2. She exclaimed "Huh! Mum! How are we going to finish a whole chicken?". Well I intended to freeze the left overs. That's what I did, there was enough to freeze four portions.

This morning, I made Spaghetti Aglio Olio and topped it with some leftover chicken. Added the very last batch of Burdock Kinpira, some Broccoli and Cauliflower topped with salad cream and an orange. Today's Bento!

i wonder if i can use my silicon cupcake moulds (separates) as dividers? yours are actual bento separators? I look forward to each of your post as there is so much that i can pick up each time :D

yozo: Actually the silicon cups are those used for cupcakes not the other way around. I like to use them because then I don't have to waste the disposable cups.

I like the pretty disposable cups but it just seems so wasteful so I have all sizes of silicon cups to suit the occasion. LOL!

emily: Thank you so much for the award! Totally awed and floored!

nobu: "aglio" is garlic in Italian! So Aglio Olio basically means garlic fried in Oil. This is the best on it's own or accompaniment with any dish. Just delicious!

It's amazing how many meals you can get out of a roasted chicken. They're not expensive and even if I do pluck up for a free range one I can still get four decent meals from it.

Also my word verification was: kwyki

which made me grin.
