Thank God for leftovers!
This morning's Bento had a wedge of Salmon cream cheese to go with some Focaccia crisps which I baked dry last week. There was some left over strawberries from the Birthday party decor for the cup cakes.
The other box contained a mixture of leftover tuna mayo, alfalfa, tomatoes and fish balls!
This Bento didn't require any effort, only some ingenuity! LOL!

Tuna mayo is good with alfalfa.
I often eat them as sandwich.
focacia crisp? would that the texture be like biscotti? or like our locally famous butter and sugar sprinkled baked overnight bread?
and oh...that oshibori! i got that for Ashley and Kimberly for school too !! RM6.90 at One utama, right ? and dont tell me u got it cheaper ! ha ha.
The focaccia crisp looks good. I wonder if it would be too messy for a 6-yr old to dip the crisp into cream cheese by herself.
nobu: Alfalfa has a unique taste but have to finish quickly. I don't know any other way to use it other than in a sandwich. This morning was a long shot!
allthingspurple: Focaccia bread texture is not as dense as biscotti, so not as hard as biscotti. Focaccia bread baked dry is some what in between that and the butter and sugar bread version but not as brittle.
It's got a lovely rosemary herb and olive oil flavor which #2 loves.
You probably got the oshibori from the same place I bought it. #1 has a discount card from that shop. I can't remember how much it cost though.
3lilangels: I think it takes a little skill to manipulate the cream cheese and crisp bread.
If your kid is okay with rosemary herbs then she can just eat it as it is. Very nice!
haha. Kimberly loves that shop too. She loves those food shaped erasers that you could take apart, and little unusual toys
by the way, is the focacia home bake? could i have the recipe if so?
allthingspurple: Recipe on the way.
My girl hasn't tried rosemary herbs yet, she's not adventurous. She loves salmon cream cheese. Might just let her bring the mini cubed version. You know, take a bite of focacia, then a bite of cheese kind of scenario... First must try out your recipe on that focacia.
